These dogs are about 16-20 inches (41-51 cm.) high and weigh about 55-85 pounds (25-39 kg.) Males are usually bigger than females. These hounds prefer to hunt for pheasant and partridges; they take naturally to retrieving, and are good water dogs. Before buying a puppy, see all the dogs and puppies at the breeder.
